Madrid is the capital of Spain and it is also the country’s art capital and a reference across Europe. - Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia: also called Queen Sofia Museum and hosts works of Salvador Dali and Pablo Picasso. You must visit the temporary exhibitions of contemporary artists coming from around the world.
- Thyssen Bornemisza Museum: the family that gives name to this museum collected more than 800 priceless historic and cultural artworks for generations. All of them are shown in this museum, really close to El Prado, in Plaza de Las Cortes neighbourhood and Neptune fountain.
These three museums constitute the so-called Art’s Triangle in Madrid, where it is possible to enjoy some of the best museums in Spain and admire the city’s beautiful architecture and history. We find emblematic monuments of Madrid in the nearby as La Cibeles fountain, gran avenida -one of the first in Spain- which is Paseo del Prado or the emblematic Metropolis building, one of the first skyscrapers in the city located between Alcala and Gran Via.
