And in regards to the lodging, between March and June the principal hotels chains of Madrid have special discounts, lodging and breakfast offers, besides packages for the weekend to enjoy a room with all the comforts in Madrid centre without emptying your pockets.

Although the best choice for a weekend is booking a hotel as central as possible, it is true that another location could be cheaper, so if you want to save in lodging and you do not care about going by underground, here are some interesting options:

Hotels next to the Madrid airport: Very comfortable hotels if you are travelling with the children because it allows you to be just one step away from the aeroplane and go later through the city by public or private transport, since the area is quieter, is well connected, rooms are usually more spacious and have more services for the same price or even cheaper.

Arturo Soria Hotels: The linear city area, Arturo Soria and Centro Comercial Alcalá Norte make up an interesting accommodation area in Madrid, above all if you are travelling with the family, since it offers any number of services, good connections of the underground with the centre and really competitive prices.
